I am based in the Town of Airdrie in West Central Scotland, roughly 12 to 13 miles outside Glasgow.
The climate, as you would expect is moderate. Summer SURFACE temperatures vary to just over 44C and winter can drop to -14C, again SURFACE temperatures. (These temps were collected last year as an average over the whole year).
From this you can understand we are a little limited as to the plants we can use.
I am a fan of rhododendrons, and own (at last count) 12 of them. As few have flowered yet, I am resricted to the pictures I can display of them.
